So being laid off sucks, but...

I am sure anyone reading this knows I was informed of my impending unemployment three weeks ago, but my last day is coming up on Friday. I am taking the last week of newspapering off. My parents are off this week, so the move will be much easier with them off work. I am also avoiding the carnage of 20+ year employees.

I thought I would be depressed about this, but I am looking forward to a new career and an old place to live. We'll be moving back to Evansville and I am jumping off the dieing newspaper bus. Thank you to everyone who has and will keep us in their thoughts and prayers.

Fun and games

We got a membership to COSI so we would have some where to take the kids in the dead of winter. It has been a blast. Last week he was obsessed with the floating balls for 20 minutes or so. It was fun to watch him be amazed every time he placed a ball.

Patrick was baptized last weekend. It was a family affair. Daniels wasn't, but because of our relocation everyone was there.
