In a cabinet...interesting

After mommy goes to work...

D was in the kitchen with me. I was cooking and opened a cabinet. Then it became a play area for D. He was all over the place.

What a Day

Daniel decided he was not happy enough just throwing his books off the shelf so he squeezed behind the bookcase to get a new view of his room. But he couldn't figure out how to get out.

After much fussing and scooting D was free to continue terrorizing daddy.

Five minutes later he was all over the house till...

He found the front door open and went outside to get nice and dirty before mommy got home. I spend my days watching my son and he surprises me everyday. I wonder what he going to get into today.

Daniel Gets His First Christmas Gift

In my family we always got ornaments for the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving. This is D's first.



My parents drove down and had Thanksgiving with Kara, Daniel and I. It was a blast.

Peek-A-Boo

I have been spending my days chasing after my son. Remembering that not too long ago Daniel stayed in one place all day long. I thought the only chasing I would be doing was at work. I never thought I would find something more tiring and rewarding then tracking down stories and photos at the paper. I was wrong, trying to stop Daniel from hurting himself by chewing on electrical cords, attacking the dogs and falling off the couch is the best part of my day.

Got to Love the Beach in October

I miss the turning of the leaves, but sand and surf are very nice. Kara, Daniel and
I went to the beach this week. It was empty except the birds. Kara loved it and Daniel tried sand for the first time.

Daniel did lots of exploring from the blanket to the waters edge.

Kara was so gorgous under the setting sun.
She could have done with out the seagulls, but we both enjoyed playing with D.

You can't go home again, but you can take pictures

Kara, Daniel and I were back in Evansville this weekend. It was a very fun time, and I realized that it was not my normal trip back I was there with D for the first time. Very fun wedding and trip I wish I could have seen more of my mother. She was busy all weekend and I spend the rest of the time busy. If only she was there more I would have gotten some pictures of her with Daniel. Despite the lack of a Nanny with Daniel photos I did get some good ones. Here they are.
