A time for celeabration.

As many of you know Patrick is here and we are so happy. Here are a few photos of my new son.

I forgot to mention I loved Fall this year.

It has been 6 years since I have seen a leaf turn any color but green or brown. Florida was many things, but it was lacking in fall foliage. Here are a few shots of Daniel and me at the park right before it turned frigid.

I hate the BMV...and HONDA

We got up today to get my plates changed from Florida to Ohio. They expire at the end of the month so I sent my paperwork to Honda to get my title sent to the BMV two weeks ago. Kara and I both have to go so we pack up this morning. After 2 hours of hopping from one line to the next I find out that they have the wrong title. Honda sent the CR-V one. Of course everyone thought I screwed up the paperwork (so did I, but only a little bit). I called Honda and they messed it all up. I freakin' swear I hate all the red tape B.S.

A new bed, guest and becoming a bed time reader.

First of all let me say that I am sorry. I haven't been keeping up too well with my blog.

Daniel has a new bed and has become a avid reader during nap time.



We have been super lucky to have guest on a regular basses after our move. It has been a blessing to see more of our family.





We have also made the shortened journey back to Evansville and I for one am looking forward to more visits.



Daniel loved the hot tub. Dad does too so they spent a lot of time in there together.

John and Jon were the grill masters during Labor Day weekend. It was nice to sit back and watch them at work.

Jon and Mary were up this weekend and Daniel had a grand old time,

When we played chopstick battle at PF Changs. D was in his booster seat and ready to rumble.

Then Jon and D watched the big train at easton place.

Mary got D ready for desert at Potbelly's. It was a very fun night for D.

Summer Has Arrived

Kara told me that this water tower ment Ohio was just around the corner. I say it says we are still in Kentucky. Just my humble opinion.

Kara took over the last leg of this journey. I warned her I was a bad navigator, but I hated sleep driving so.... We got lost.

But in the end we got there.

As most of you know Kara and I are moving to Ohio. One of my jobs is straightening up the house for showings during the week, Hasn't happened that often. I went into the other room and made the mistake of listening to the radio too long.

THIS IS WHAT I FOUND WHEN I CAME IN TO THE LIVING ROOM.

At least he has the good taste to pick up the "Star Wars" DVDs

Fun at the aquarium

We took Daniel to the aquarium and he really liked the fishes and the kids water park. It was a very fun place to go with D and Kara.

D was glued to the sides of the tanks and he wanted to get in with the fish a couple of times.

When we finished with the inside part of the visit we let D run around the outside play area. There was a sand box and a large water play area. At first he didn't know what to do , but it didn't take long for him to dive right in and start playing in the water fountains. It was a great time watching him play in the sun.

Kara will kill me for this but I thought this was a very nice photo. Hopefully Kara won't see it.

From Jungle to Backyard (yes i have visual aids)

For the past month I have spent most of my free time and a four day weekend with dad turning this:Into this:I am so happy to have this done. Now Daniel can have fun in his own yard.

Dreaming of a new backyard

I spent the weekend cutting down 3 fruit trees and tearing down 2 sheds. Daniel and Kara hung out inside and watched the work progress. I still have a much to do before D can run around in the yard, but he looks out at all the changes and I hope he realizes he will have an all new play area soon.
